Partnership Announcement: SSP is Participating in CA’s SLP with Mandiant

We are excited to announce a new feature to our partnership with Mandiant: SSP is now an approved partner and participating in the State of California’s Software Licensing Program (SLP) for Mandiant. The SLP contract vehicle, managed by the California Department of General Services, Procurement Division, enables the SSP team to leverage Mandiant’s industry-leading cybersecurity experts and their tools to transform California’s state, local, government, and education clients’ security environments.
Uniquely, the SLP contract vehicle allows California state agencies to avoid a formal proof-of-concept or a request for proposal to purchase, enabling government agencies across the state to easily procure more advanced cybersecurity services to bolster their existing cyber programs with the global threat intelligence provided by Mandiant. This ensures that state agencies have an easier and more cost-effective procurement path compared to time-consuming requests for proposal. SLP contracts also keep pricing consistent statewide — ensuring that our State clients get the appropriate solution at a reasonable price.
