Mr. Ford is 20-year veteran in cybersecurity, incident response, and intelligence led cyber operations in both government and commercial sectors. Prior to joining FireEye, Mr. Ford served in executive leadership roles for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) at FBI Headquarters’ Cyber and Special Technologies Divisions as well as field offices gaining experience on the front lines. Mr. Ford served as the responsible executive to the U.S. Cryptologic Centers for strategic and tactical oversight of global cyber operations and key asset protection. In these roles. Mr. Ford developed the framework used by the U.S. Government to manage risk of cyber threats supporting government and critical infrastructure capabilities receiving recognition by the White House National Security Council and the United States Congress. 

Currently, Mr. Ford serves as Managing Director of Global Strategy and Operations for Government Solutions at FireEye. Mr. Ford is the FireEye responsible executive to multi- & bi-lateral strategic partnerships throughout the world. In these roles, Mr. Ford leads global teams of cyber experts who not only respond to the largest breaches and crisis events world-wide, but also delivers executive thought leadership, national capacity capabilities, and unique security program capabilities and solutions to protect critical missions, infrastructure, and national security interests worldwide.

Mr. Ford serves as an adjunct professor teaching advanced curricula on cybersecurity and risk frameworks at St. Mary’s University. Mr. Ford is a graduate of Harvard, John F. Kennedy School on Cybersecurity Policy; a graduate of Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business in Strategic Change Leadership; and a graduate of Carnegie Melon University’s series on Insider Threats. Mr. Ford is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), and a Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC) professional. Mr. Ford also holds several Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC). Mr. Ford is the recipient of the Director of National Intelligence Certificate of Distinction and Meritorious Unit Citation.

As CTO for Cloud at FireEye, Martin is responsible for shaping cloud security offerings, developing the corporate cloud security strategy, and passionately working with customers to help secure their cloud workloads. Prior to serving as CTO for Cloud, Martin lead the team that built the FireEye Advanced URL Detection Engine in the cloud and founded the cloud-native Helix Platform at FireEye.

Before FireEye, Martin spent most of a decade in penetration testing, incident response, and threat hunting while serving as the Incident Response Team Lead for the State of Wisconsin. While serving at the State of Wisconsin, Martin developed several open-source technologies that pioneered concepts in security event data analytics, packet capture and analysis, and malware analysis.

Martin is a regular contributor to FireEye blogs, webinars, and eBooks and has appeared on panels, podcasts, and given presentations covering serverless Big Data solutions, cloud security, and security investigation cognitive strategies at AWS re: Invent, RSA Conference, and other security conferences.

Chris Usserman is a Director of Security Architecture and subject matter expert with Infoblox. Chris brings over 30 years’ experience in the U.S. intelligence community, and applies that experience by helping clients understand and incorporate cyber business intelligence to mature client cyber security programs. Chris’ focus is on the U.S. Government, and extends that public/private partnership to enhance the security posture of multiple sectors and communities of interest. Chris has been invited to speak on the subject of DNS and cyber security at global conferences. Prior to Infoblox, Chris was Senior Director, Applied Intelligence as well as Director, Government Programs at iSIGHT Partners (FireEye) for over three years. Chris was also a Lead Research Scientist at Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Technology Laboratories and served 14 years in the U.S. Air Force.

 

 
 

Bruce Hembree

Bruce Hembree is the Field CTO for "Cortex" - the machine learning and automation division of Palo Alto Networks.

Prior to Palo Alto Networks Bruce worked extensively with the United States Department of Defense and ran operations at the Microsoft “Digital Crimes Unit” or (DCU) - a small team of offensive-side security professionals brought into the eye of the public by inclusion in the Tom Clancy novel "Threat Vector." The DCU works with law enforcement agencies like the FBI, Secret Service, Scotland Yard, Interpol, and other entities doing offensive take-downs of global Internet threats, online organized crime, botnets such as Citadel, Zbot, Conficker, Rustock and Emotet, and disruption of child pornography distribution.

Bruce is a veteran of the United States Air Force and spent two years deployed to active conflict areas in support of global anti-terrorism efforts.

 

 

Nathan Sinclair, Manager of the Cyber Defense Team for the City & County of San Francisco Department of Technology, plays a key role in protecting the City and its 30,000 employees. The Cyber Defense Team is a Central service that provides cybersecurity monitoring and alerting for the entire organization. Before joining the Department of Technology, Nathan worked for the Oakland Unified School District. Starting as an intern in high school, Nathan worked his way up through the ranks from an entry level computer tech, senior tech, and eventually Network Admin. Providing key support for admin staff, teachers, and students.
